Effective Communication: What's Your Point?
Since E-mail is quick and easy to compose, you will be tempted to write notes and send them immediately to get them out of the way. But remember that your recipients cannot question you about unclear details, as they could in a face-to- face conversation.

A handy aspect of E-mail is that you can compose a message, save it, and come back to it later for review. Take advantage of this and think your messages through. Be sure you have answered the questions. Are your points clear or have you left room for misinterpretation?
